System Requirements

Minimum System Requirements:
  • OS Windows 2000 or XP, DirectX 9.0

  • Sound Card, speakers and microphone
  • Web camera
  • Internet Connection (either dial-up: minimum 33.6 Kbps modem, or any broadband: cable, DSL, etc.)

Installation

1.Once the file has downloaded completely, open the folder containing the downloaded file.

2. Double click the installation file to start the installation process. Follow to instructions.

3.After this recommended additional installations:

3.1. VP7 video codec download from http://www.on2.com

DivX video codec - download from http://www.divx.com

XviD codec - from http://www.xvid.org or from http://www.doom9.org

3.2. Audio codec LAME MP3 - download from http://www.doom9.org , documentation and sources on http://sourceforge.net/projects/lame or http://www.mp3dev.org . Setup audio codec driver - extract archive to folder Lame and install codec with file "LameACM.inf" by right clicking and selecting Install.

(LAME - encoder under the restrictions of the LGPL(freeware Library General Public License). Fully acknowledge that you are using LAME, and give a link to our web site, www.mp3dev.org )

4. When you first run the application, may be the following FireWall appears:

"Do you want to keep blocking this programm?"

- select Unblock button.

Uninstalling

To uninstall the program:

1. Click Start->Settings ->Control panel .

2. In the Control panel, select “Add/Remove programms”.

3. From the list of program, select the required program, click “Remove”.

Settings

Set your profile setup by pressing the Profile (left menu button) and fill the demographic data.

­ If connection is provided via the Internet - supply the contact person with your global IP address.

­ If connection is provided via the local network - send to contact person your local IP address.

Contact Add/Update - press to button Add contact and fill contact data with received from him IP address.

 Update data made with button Edit contact.

For remove contact - select contact and press to Remove  button.

Add Contact

Devices settings - click to button Devices properties .

Recomeded settings - camera resolution 320x240 pixels, speed 30 max frames per second, video codec: DivX with speed 20-100 bits per second or VP7, encode mode 1-pass, audio codec: Lame MP3 - 8000Hz Mono 0 bps (100 msec audio buffer) or GSM 6.1 (200 msec audio buffer).

For communication with video conference partner select contact and press to Contact button.

chat For start text chat select contact and press to Chat button.

With volume controls, you can adjust the volume and microphone.
